Was last month's low the worst for equities?
In early March, stock indices bottomed short-term. The question is whether or not those bottoms will hold. As of now, they have, and I think they will. Those lows were pronounced due to Washington and Wall Street not meshing (imagine that). In the month since, dialogue between the two has been more cordial (even if pandering for cameras continues) and understanding.
In early March, I bought more HOV for under $1 and also bought FAS, which is a financial ETF. My thought is that another financial etf (XLF) bottomed near ~$19 in the last recession. The financial system, while changing, will continue to lend in the future. Banks will be banks. If the XLF gets back to ~$19, FAS should be $20+. We'll see.
Still like OPXT, due to networking expansion and acceleration, purchase of Stratalight and also weakening Yen. I think dollar/Yen will be ~115 by the summer.
Still like the rest of the bunch, though it's been painful!
